A couple of weeks ago, whilst I was working in A&E, I walked into my afternoon shift as I usually do, laughing and joking with my fellow colleagues up until I reached the board in majors to receive handover, because there on the board was my Grandad's name :( I ran straight into the bay where he was located and hardly recognised him he looked so poorly. He was taken to a ward and did perk up slightly but sadly a few days later we lost him :( A source of comfort is at least now he is no longer in pain. A huge pang of sadness occurred when Swansea City Football Club won their playoff final and played their way triumphantly into the Premier League just two short days after his passing. He was an avid Swansea City and sports fan and was looking forward to the playoff game the week before and would have loved that day. Many a tears were shared by myself and family after that final whistle blew.
We say our final farewells tomorrow afternoon at his funeral.
